Thank to a important fieldstudy, IAI developed a molecular test of diagnostic - the PadoTest 4·5® - that detects four of the most important bacteria responsible of Periodontitis. The IAI PadoTest 4·5® consisted in the basis of the growth of the company, that has expanded to others tests, techniques and research projects.

Always at the tip of the scientific knowledge, IAI follows, develops, and applies new techniques to its different tests and research topics.

The philosophy of IAI has always be to elaborate robust, simple, low cost and significant diagnostic tests - as demonstrated by the PadoTest 4·5® - that benefit of a great reputation in Europe, especially in Germany and Switzerland, where the dentists use it in routine. IAI benefits from a very high flexibility, that allows a great reactivity, and can undertake any wish for specific molecular biological test.

IAI has a long tradition of collaborations in research projects directly or indirectly linked to the oral bacterial world. In this way, IAI has offered and still offers its knowledge and technologies to research students and institutions.

The understanding of the bacterial world is at its dawn and IAI is willing to take a part in discovering the infinity of mechanisms, positive or negative, in which the bacteria act in our life and environment.
